Oncostatin M receptor (OSMR), also known as IL-31 receptor subunit beta, is a member of the IL-6 receptor family. It is expressed in bone marrow, endothelium, liver, lung and skin tissues. OSMR forms the type II OSM receptor complex when paired with interleukin 6 signal transducer (gp130) and forms the IL-31 receptor when complexed with interleukin 31 receptor A (IL31RA). The binding of OSM to either of these receptors triggers activation of the JAK-STAT signaling pathway.

Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is 5 µL per million cells in 100 µL staining volume or 5 µL per 100 µL of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
