The wells were incubated with serially diluted primary biotin antibody at room temperature for 2 hours in 1% BSA-PBS, followed by incubation with HRP Avidin (Cat. No. 405103). TMB High Sensitivity Substrate Solution (Cat. No. 421501) was used for detection. Absorbance was measured at 450 nm.

Description

Interferon alpha 2 (IFN-α2) is a type I interferon subtype. It has been widely used in the treatment of cancer, such as bladder cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and leukemia, and viral infections. IFN-α2 initiates T and NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity of tumor cells through both IFNγ dependent and independent mechanisms. It can enhance suppressed T cell cytotoxicity through stimulation of the perforin-granzyme B system in an IFNγ-dependent manner and can also induce the expression of perforin-granzyme B in NK cells through an IFNγ independent mechanism. IFN-α2 has served as a foundational drug in the treatment of chronic hepatitis C, but it has been gradually replaced by stabilized formulations that have improved the effectiveness and tolerability of therapeutic administration.
